Use this page to request deletion of your Umesh Sensei Online Academy account and the personal data associated with it. You do not need to be signed in, and you do not need the app.

Already have the app? You can delete your account instantly under Profile → Delete Account (type delete to confirm). This form is for people who don't have the app installed, or who prefer to request it by email.

What happens to your data

🗑️ Permanently deleted

Your profile and sign-in details (name, username, email, profile photo, date of birth)
Your study time and learning progress
Course, lesson, flashcard, grammar and kanji progress
Your enrollments, course access and daily goals
Your homework submissions, including any photos you uploaded
Any CV data saved by the CV builder
Your notifications and any pending verification codes
Notes and downloads saved on your own device (cleared from the device)

🔒 Anonymized and kept

A few records must survive for legal, financial and fairness reasons. These are unlinked from your identity and remain only as “[deleted user]”:

Payment records (required for accounting)
The record that a mock-test certificate was issued
Content you posted that other students see — comments, ratings and feedback

⏱️ Requests are processed within 30 days. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone — if you buy a course again later, you'll need to create a new account.
